Energy using kettles?

hi just wondered is it more energy efficient to use an electric kettle or a stove kettle (heated off the hob)??


Is it cheaper too??


Please help!

An energy efficient kettle on a gas hob is cheaper to run and produces less CO2 than would be produced generating the electricity to power an electric kettle.
But if you have an electric hob the kettle will be quicker and use less energy.
