tamagotchi

does anybody remeber the craze that went through youngsters called the tamagotchi, an artificial pet that you keep on your keys and you have to look after etc. anybody know of where you can get 1 from? lol thanks

Yes I remember them - I didn't think it was that long ago!!  My sister loves pandas and, although she was about 30 years old at the time, someone bought her a panda tamagotchi (though she might have bought it for herself!!).  She had it in her pocket when she was waiting to go in for a massage at a health centre when it beeped to it it was hungry or needed a poo or something.  At the same time though, the masseur heard it and asked my sister if she was on-call - thinking it was an emergency pager!!  How embarassing!!

I have seen them in all sorts of shops recently so they must be becoming popular again.  Last time I saw them was either in Argos or Smyths toyshop.

Aw i remember them.. I had a dinosaur one.. I bet theres loads of different ones on Ebay!
