where is the nicest place in turkey?

I'm looking to travel to turkey at the end of august but not sure which is the best place. I want some nice beaches with good clean areas and a good nightlife. I wanted to go marmais but apparantley it's like blackpool?

We went to alanya last year and the year before and we never go to the same place twice it was that good the food at our hotel was nothing short of fantastic but the nightlife was a bit slow as we were 5 miles outside the town but at night the town rocks the beaches were brill and just outside of the town you be almost the only one on the sand we stayed at the blue village which has a page on the net if you are interested

Turkey is the loveliest place that i have ever been. I don't know anyone that has been & hated it. I would love to know what parts Dicko_82 & petesgrayz went..

I would definately recommend Hisaronu, Olu Deniz, Altinkum, Gumbet & Bitez. Hisaronu is my favourite.

The locals are so friendly, the food is lovely & the beaches are gorgeous!!!

Hisaronu is the best for nightlife out of them, a few bars etc are mentioned here: www.hisaronu.co.uk & this hotel is great!! www.hotelsaray.com

Ps, i wouldn't go to Marmaris.
