Is there anyway you can find out if your local or nearby library has a book you would like to read?

Many public library online catalogues are arranged by counties. Look up (say) Warwickshire public libraries, Hampshire public libraries, or wherever, and then click through to their on-line catalogues. You may be able to restrict your search to your own branch, or you may find you are searching the whole county. Still, in most counties you will be able to borrow from any public library in the system. The book you want will ( eventually) be delivered to your own branch. Even if the county does not hold the title you want, you can ask for an Inter-Library loan, which in most cases will cost a fiver or so.
