How many books do you have?
I was fascinated to read recently that the average number of books per household is 200.
I think I have about 150, but got rid of at least another 150 when we moved down from London to a smaller house.
If that figure is true there must be huge numbers of people who don't own a single book. Can this be true?

Lucky you, Chrissa. That shop looks amazing.
I am, Cloverjo. When I find an author that I enjoy, it's great to be able to choose, read and return all the books by that author, at a fraction of the price they would be in the shops and then return them for credit, to "purchase" more books.
Has anyone on here discovered 'Bibliophile'. Lifeline to me when I was in France. Give it a google - go on, you know you want to....
More than 200 in the living room
Bookcases in bedroom and spare room
Also have a Kindle and visit the library once a week (at least)
Has anyone come across 'Bibliophile', by the way? I get a lot of cheap books from them - kept me going in France. do yourselves a favour and check it out.
