Shoes for charity

Is there a charity that collects and sends shoes to India?

Dont be so silly and give it to Oxfam, we can do with them much more than India can!

ahh Doris - so how was he India trip? Sounds like you have come away horrified by the amount bare-footedness...?

The trip was amazing but the poverty was horrifying. The hotels were out of this world, marble staircases, huge chandeliers, flowing water and magnificient food. Then you leave the hotel and BANG, kids picking through the gutters. I wanted to help them ALL, but you just can't. I can't understand how it is allowed to happen. Came home and just thought I woudl try and do something to help. Worth going though. Dxx
