I was in a little cafe the other day with my son, having some lunch, when an old couple came and sat on the table next to us.The looked about 80 yrs old,him with flat cap,she with wool hat and shopping trolley. They sat there sharing a pot of tea and nattering away, when I heard this beeping noise.Thinking it was my mobile I went to looking in my bag, when I spotted the old lady fish a top of the range mobile out of her overcoat pocket, turn to hubby and say,"Oh,its only Peter - he wants to know when we'll be back" and she then proceeded to text him back!! It was all I could do to stop myself from choking on my coffee - it looked so funny!!

My son made me giggle today, he was playing peek-a-boo around the side of the chair. He got so excited that he was just poking his head around the corner and laughing, doing it so quickly that he was just shaking his head and not even waiting for someone to ask where he'd gone
I just giggled!!! My sister just e-mailed me a couple of times and in the last one she told me that my nephew who is 3 1/2 had a few dinosaurs taken away from him yesterday through naughtiness and while he was eating some ice cream last night he remembered that she'd said she'd give him one back.
He said "mummy, you forgot to give me my dinosaur back", my sis replied "hang on for one minute, i'm just busy". after a massive sigh his reply was "forget it mum!!!"
She felt like she had a teenager in the house!! Made me laugh lots!!
A couple of things have made me giggle over the last few days...........like PinkFizz, I'm in a really good mood!
We were at home the other day when my 3yr old son just came out and said '22 inches', thinking I'd missheard, I asked him what he'd just said, he repeated it so I asked 'what's 22 inches sweetheart' - he just turned around and answered......'well, a giraffes neck, for one thing!'.......no idea where that came from!
My sister sent me a video of my son dancing while she was looking after than him the other day and it was him, naked running around her sitting room singing 'Chirpy chirpy cheepp cheep'!!!
Lastly, as my husband has a few days off work, we decided to go on a family day out to the seaside this morning - so we drove to Whitby for the day (sun was shining & the fish n chips were gorgoeus).....We decided to go on a boat trip around the marin, as we sat down and started to get ready to sail another group of people decided that they wanted to come on board too.....among this group of people was an old woman who looked exactly like Jimmy Saville!! My husband pointed this out to me while I was having a drink from a can - it made me laugh so hard that I choked on the pop and splurted it all over - much to everyone elses amusement!!
I can think of loads more - but better not go over the top in case I upset the miseries out there. ;-P
A xXx
