The comments from Trump about Obama and Clinton being Fonder and Co-Founder of ISIS are explained by Trump saying Obama abandoned the newly formed Iraqi army and Clinton had clearly voted for the Iraq War (under W) and Obama, when he became President was in a Mad Hatter rush to abandon Iraq and get the U.S. troops out, which did become a major reason ISIS flourished subsequently. He contrasts the fact that he was outspokenly agains the Iraq invasion and Hillary voted for it...

Strictly speaking, he was outspokenly against the Iraq Invasion (a) only after it occurred and (b) mainly to start with at least because it was messing up his finances. Beforehand he was in favour, albeit only in a half-hearted way to be fair, but to suggest that he was outspoken against it is stretching the truth to the point of breaking it.

Also, that nuanced explanation of how Obama and Clinton may have had a hand in creating the conditions in which ISIS could then flourish is *not* what Trump said. He said that they were the founder and co-founder. Explicitly, unambiguously, clearly, and repeatedly, until the utter crassness of phrasing anything that way was finally pointed out to him.

You can't just retcon what Trump says to make it look profound when it really isn't.
