Why does fresh bread give me hiccups!

I posted this in Body and Soul and some one suggested I put it here too. Fresh bread always gives me hiccups, it has the same effect on my Mum and my son (and now I know 'Purpose' gets it too so that's four of us!) Anyone have any clue as to why?

Hey Smudge, interesting article, I must admit I don't think my body particularly likes bread and I don't eat a lot but everytime it's fresh...hicups!
