Something For Energy
9 Answers
Does anyone know of a medication/syrup that can be bought without prescription that will help with lack of energy. My OH is very ill with a lung disease, is on oxygen 24/7, but has no energy whatsoever and is unable to perform the easiest of tasks. He was put on Callogen but this failed to make any difference. I think/hope there must be something out there and hope someone can come up with an answer.

Her lack of energy is due to generalised lack of oxygen and a build up of carbon dioxide leading to headaches, weakness and lethargy. Muscle weakness will also be a prominent feature.
She presumably has an adequate supply of oxygen and drugs to help her heart cope as well as improving her breathing.
There is nothing that over the counter medicines can add and I would be upset if your developed unrealistic expectations from any untested therapy.
