Late 80's song

I've been searching for years, but occasionally I'll hear the instrumental version of this song used by various sports programs, the BBC have used it for winter olympics before. It was sang by a European pop group, possibly German, female lead singer, up tempo beat lots of synth, from the mid-late eighties if memory is correct.

Some of the lyrics are " The first kiss (or cut) will only make you wonder, the second one will (something, something, something).....You keep standing, I keep screaming.."

I've tried every site and lyric search engine with no luck. Please help if you can and put me out of my misery!

lol, no problems goodrest, nice to be able to help :o) AB is great for this kind of thing, there's always someone who knows the tune, no matter how obscure, or how little you can remember of it. I agree with you pippa, it's a cracking tune, one of my all time favourites. And I'll be singing it all day now, may just go and have a wee listen to it... xx

I've downloaded from a generic site and in the last 48 hours have listened to it approximately 347 times, got to make up for all those lost years, takes me back to school discos in the gym hall propping up a radiator with a can of Top Deck shandy trying to convince myself that it was actually getting me drunk even if it was only 0.0000001% Vol. Waiting for the last dance from Madonna with "Crazy For You".....Lord it's all coming back now , the awkward dancing, my piano tie, the lot!!!

I am indeed of that particular 80's vintage, kick3mon it seems we were all traumatised by those school discos and bad fashion, I had some shockers my mum got me from Burtons "You get bags more buzz at Burtons..."so the advert went. No, what you got was Le Shark polo tops and the mac-daddy of crap sportswear from "Gabicci" to go with your stonewashed jeans. (You got Gabicci if you couldn't afford the real thing from Kappa) Still could have been worse, I could have been one of the girls in a puffball skirt and madonna-esque gloves clearly made out of their Nan's lace table cloth.." hahahaha!
