As the 360 is a microsoft product it has excellent network connectivity which gets even better if you run a media centre pc or will be buying vista early next year.
Just buy the console that runs the game(s) you want.
If you don't know what games you want, then don't waste your money on a console, because you would only waste more money buying random mediocre games to justify your initial purchase.
Don't start spending money in video games until you understand that it's only the quality of the games that matter, not the hardware.
Also, there are other games platforms that the 3 you mentioned.
