Seems very false, all laughing cos Mrs Brown says something "not in the script"... Just had its day, used to be funny and fresh, not any more. Move on.
horrendous, cringeworthy - I watched it last night to again see if I could get some humour but all that false laughter amongst themselves only leads me to believe that there would be more humour in an asylum - at least the inmates wouldn't be allegedly acting.
I was surprised to see that headline. I don't find it remotely funny. There are far better sitcoms.
I'm not offended by the language. As far as I've heard the worst word is feck, which doesn't count, really. I don't watch for long enough to know if there's any more.
while on the subject of comedy - do any of you think James Corden is remotely funny - to me so so unfunny and I believe he has done "well" in Americay.
I am astounded - not only that The Inbetweeners did not make the Top Ten, but that Count Arthur Strong is at Number Four! It wouldn't have been funny in the 1950's, where it's roots clearly are, but the notion that it is funny now seems unbelieveable.
