Dark And Thundery

For about two hours thunder has been growling all around where I live (Leicestershire). It went really dark but it hasn't rained particularly. It seems as though it can't make its mind up what to do! There are occasional flashes of lightning but it hasn't materialised into a 'proper' storm. It's very strange.

Thanks Tilly - that's fascinating. Just spoken to friend down near Oxford, they've had really cracking storms. I do like a good thunderstorm, provided I'm not out in it, but it's passed me by today.
