Mrs O - Funeral - Tuesday
93 Answers
Please take some time out of your busy day tomorrow to say a quiet goodbye to our much missed friend Mrs Overall - the service is at 10:45 tomorrow morning, Tuesday 30th August.
We are travelling today and will be collecting minty from York Station along the way - it's a brave (or possibly foolish) plan to rely on both the A1(M) and East Coast Rail on a Bank Holiday Monday - wish us all luck.
Mary and Dave xx

A beautiful service with some wonderful memories of MrsO shared....
Though what the rest of the folk thought of the four Abers....Dave, Jourdain2, Minty and Gness sitting clutching little bunches of Marigolds supplied by Jourdain heaven only knows......
Mine were shredded and petaless by the final prayer......Gx

Sunny-Dave did quail and pass his bunch to gness!
Minty and I tucked them into our handbags, with their heads sticking out.
gness really did more or less destroy hers, but left a shredded marigold with the floral offerings - I think (she disappeared for a few minutes and I don't like to ask). It was a beautiful service.
tonyav - I cut the marigolds from my front garden this morning, wrapped their stems in soggy kitchen-roll, wrapped that lot in kitchen foil and topped it off with cling-film - they looked lovely.
