Pasta, I must warn you they are very, very hot. Thanks for the link, tonyav. I was just about to try to post it.
Bazile, I can't explain the attraction to hot food. It's not all about the heat. You can still taste the food as well. It just makes it more interesting, I suppose.
I like spicy stuff too. But one of the comments claimed it was only madras curry level hot. That would be tolerable. But I'd still be wary the taste of the pork scratching, which is attractive in it's own right, might be diminished by the taste of the pepper.
Just to clarify, I was referring to tonyav's link at 20.37.
O_G, if you're referring to the same item, the person who reviewed it as madras level hot must have much tougher tastebuds than me, and also my son who can wolf down a vindaloo quite easily.
I see there are a lot of similar hot snacks on Amazon.
A few years back, at a beer festival, I bought a bag of Merry Berry Truffles Scorpion Death Chilli chocolate from a stall there. I'm determined to eat it all. (They bite !) Just realised I still have a few small bits left. May achieve that aim tomorrow. No one else wanted to know.
I love pork scratchings but they are getting harder and harder to find.
I also like onion bhajis, pakoras and spring rolls. I buy some about once a week and we have them warmed with chilli dipping sauce for supper. Naughty but nice!
