System Restore
How do I turn on System Restore? When I try to access it I get a message saying it has been turned off. I've looked at the answers already provided on this but I can't understand them. Can someone please tell me what's wrong and how to fix it, in plain terms?
I can get to the Properties, but the System Restore tab is missing. The only answer I can find on this is rather baffling. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\SystemRestore
Each of the sections (separated by slashes) refers to a folder within a folder. When you finall click the last folder (SystemRestore) look in the right pane for "DisableSR" , double-click it and enter a value of 0 (zero).
Click OK
Close Regedit
Restart you machine
If you are a duffer I assume you have tried the Help Files. Click Start then Help and Support. This will guide you to System Restore. You then look to the left where it says System Restore Settings and then make sure the box is not ticked where it says "turn off system restore". If even this is too complicated I will detail it click by click. I do not advice you tinkering with REGEDIT
Well, if you checked out Fitzer's link you would have seen that the first instruction was:
Click Start/Run
Type Regedit and hit Enter
This opens a window which has two panes - left pane and a right pane. In the left pane there are folders.
