Japanese maple cuttings?
2 Answers
I have a gorgeous big Japanese Maple Tree in my garden. My neighbour likes it and has asked if he can have a cutting. Any ideas on how to tackle this?

Cuttings need to be very soft, have undersoil heating and mist. A strike rate of around 2% is normal so if you take 100 cuttings, expect 2 to make it.
Best bet is to grow some from seed then graft a piece of yours onto the seedling.
