when the people of Durham wer easked who they would like as his successor, one said - A bishop who believes in God would be a start ....
his big thing was the Resurrection and whether it had physically occurred ( a trick with a bag of bones ) - only believers saw the resurrected Christ for starters .... and this take on theology was too much for his more earthy parishioners ( ok a bishop doesnt have parishioners - diocesan thingeys then )
