80's film

Anybody on here know the title of an 80's comedy film set around a high class golf club. All i remember is that the golfers were rich and the staff were poor and everyone seemed to be eccentric. Also remember someone trying to hunt down a gopher that was plaguing the course. Sorry if im being a bit vague but any help is appreciated :)

Sounds awfully like Caddyshack. Bill Murray is the crazy groundsman waging the war against the gophers.

yep, I'd have said Caddyshack too. There was an ad recently starring Tiger Woods that spoofed the film.

It always seems to be on somewhere or other in the schedules.
Since Christmas i think ive spotted it on Five, E4, Paramount comedy and it was even on TCM tonight!
You dont have to wait long for Caddyshack to turn up on your telly!
