49 tedious minutes and they have only just got out of space dock.
I had forgotten how boring this film was.

^^^ It's good to see that someone else likes a bit of humour in their dramas.
For me, the best Bond films are the ones where there's plenty of humour alongside the action. (Sometimes it's been missing for too long within a Bond film). Similarly, the early Poirot series (with the comic interplay between Poirot, Hastings and Miss Lemon) were much better than some of the later ones (where the director just made a straightforward 'whodunnits', even if they were closer to Christie's books).

Yeah well the acting, even for Star Trek, is just awful. This film was legendarily bad; the studio went nuts and rushed Wrath of Khan out as fast as they could, they even used the effects scenes from this movie. If you watch carefully, in Wrath of Khan, you can see the scenes they lifted right out of this.
