Saturday. My last day in Kernow.

We had an excellent meal with DT last night, at one of his favourite haunts. A delightful ancient inn, the food was superb and there was enough on each plate for two! A very pleasent evening. We left the pub to find it was raining. such is life!

No real plans for today as yet, but I must remember to fill my cars petrol tank up!

Have a happy day everyone.

Minty....bit of a sore subject. We've been forced to postpone our holiday until November. We were due to fly next Wednesday but Thomson contacted us 2 weeks before departure to tell us that there's extensive building work going on. The work has been going on for most of the year and they certainly didn't mention it when we booked it the day after the Referendum.

We asked if we could have the same dates but stay at their other hotel and they said we'd have to pay £800 more.

I even told the woman I spoke to that we only booked this holiday after the ectopic and that it meant a lot to us, but they didn't give two hoots frankly...
A late good morning Waterman/ everyone. Hope you're well, sounds like it ;0)
