I don't get the EU flag thing. I voted to remain, but I don't feel any allegiance to the blue flag with the stars.
Sorry, I hope this doesn't turn into a Brexit argument.
"She who must be obeyed" was quite taken with Juan Diego Florez the Peruvian opera tenor. I thought he was great fun as well. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the Colwyn Bay hook up. We have friends who were there and I went out afterwards to watch the fireworks. Great night . Well done Britain.
It's just that there was a thread by AOG I think saying that there were plans to disrupt the Last Night of the Proms by waving EU flags. Well there were loads of EU flags but not a hint of disruption it was all very friendly as normal.
Just watched and thought, all the proms in the parks were flag waving , no blue rags with yellow dots visible, yet in the Albert Hall a group managed to get in view most of the time.
Loved the Aztec costume! Music is unifying and no-one - apart from Junker and his ilk - wants to split people off from each other. The Brussels elite are the real enemy of everyone in my opinion. A great night.
