Newspaper editors tend to feature currently high-profile 'celebs' to boost their sales. The celebs themselves usually have no say in the matter.

Must admit I'm a bit fed up of Nadyia now. She seems like a nice lady and I liked her on Bake Off but she's on and in everything now.

She was even on a panel show the other day (can't remember which one) nothing to do with food, why, just why?

The word 'celebrity' is very over-used these days. These are just some folks who have been on tv once or twice!

I've said it afore I've said it in Brighton .People should only be allowed to bee on the telly for a maximum of say 2 years the it's the building site and the men can go as well

Claire balding seems to be the expert on everything ATM. I'm slick listening to her , and yes I do " turn over"

I don't think Nadia looked bewildered on WILTY. She's no comedian, but she seemed fine.
I love Clare Balding. She's very good at what she does, and I'm enjoying her coverage of the Paralympics.

The 'celebrity' is a factor of modern life - because millions of people like tolook at and read about them.

If you are not so disposed, it's really easy to avoid them - simply be selective about what you watch and read.

I manage to avoid virtually all 'celebrity' coverage, and what I can't avoid, I simply ignore, it's easy.
