I have just put the (Halo away)
Coming back to the original question,it is not so much a case of would anybody 'fall for it'?
There are simply occasions where clever opportunists strike and their job is made easier by work staff who do not follow their own procedures.
Obviously, some people are rather careless and complacent over banking such as not taking sufficient precautions inputting PIN's or completing bogus links on emails. However,I have witnessed bank staff equally being lackadaisical in their duties.Scamming devices to cashpoints have also been commonplace.
GH had absolutely no control over what happened and the bank refunded her money promptly. It clearly demonstrates that anyone can fall victim to fraud. We can only take the best possible precautions and hope that business technology is one step ahead of the fraudsters but sometimes it's company representatives themselves who leave the door open.

Yes believe it or not she has appeared on TV without mentioning it. //
But to be fair, it has only been twenty-four hours ...

ummmm - //Andy - you're appearing heartless. //
I fail to see why you would think that.
If anyone is grieving over a loss, be it yesterday, or twelve years ago, they have my utmost sympathy.
If they are constantly trotting it out often without reason, on national TV, then that in my view, is inappropriate, I am entitled to say so, and I have.
