Imported Motorcycle
Last year my son bought a Yamaha GTS1000 motorbike which had been imported from France. As it was not roadworthy (accident damage) he has been working on it to get it back on the road. It is now finished, and he wants to register it but he hasn't got any foreign registration documents. The DVLA have sent him an information pack, but we are just totally confused. Anyone got any advice?

You will, howver need the sales document and any proof of import which you can show to the DVLA inspectors who will then issue an new reg plate (Possibly a Q plate if the date of manufacture cannot be proved) and away you go.
