We've had a couple of Dysons, and the only time we suffered a loss of suction proved to be a blockage caused by the cat's toy mouse.

The excellent design made it easy to remove the blockage.

ivor...if only that "report" you've linked to wasn't over ten years old...I might have given it some creedance.
Current Which? report (by that I mean a few months ago) tells a completely different story.
