What exactly was this programme about?
The new presenter, in between asking a few dumb questions, kept saying they would reveal Cornwalls hidden gems / secrets / whatever, then never did.
We only ever saw film of various boats from different angles speeding along the water.
A few old clips were thrown in out of interest.
This was so dumbed down it surely must be aimed at the US market?
I was looking forward to this but switched off after about twenty minutes when I realised it was a rehash.I've liked all the others but there's only so much coast they can cover in this country and I think they've covered just about all of it now.
I liked the ones farther afield ,Australia ,Denmark etc and wish they would show more worldwide coasts.
Totally agree..it was absolutely dreadful...they kept showing a map of the south coast of Cornwall and then showing St Ives and the like on the north coast. Thought it was a very poor commercial and found the presenter really bad. Waste of everyones time I felt.
BBC2 did, however, start a new series of the very enjoyable Great Continental Railway Journeys with Michael Portillo, the night before. And I discovered a new (to me) composer....Romanian George Enescu.
60 minutes well spent.
