Morning... just discovered that the sink in the bathroom has a huge crack in it.. so will need replacing.. what I'd like to know.. is.. can we re-use the taps..on a new sink.. or would just be better to start with everything new.. save the faffing about ! Fortunately.. we know a really good bathroom fitter !.
Hope you all have a good weekend Mrs C x

No problem re-using the old taps, crisper. It' usually only a choice between a 1 tap hole or a 2 tap hole basin.

I think basin taps are fairly standard. It depends on whether you want to change them too.
That said I recall having a sink/basin once that needed square fittings !
Glad you know a good bathroom fitter, why don't you ask him to have a look + tell you?

If the taps are good it is simple to swap them over, all that is required is probably new rubber washers top and bottom.( and a good bathroom fitter). I would probably change the u trap and waste outlet though and you will need someone to check whether you need new overflow fittings.
