My wife plays games on her iphone. She told me she had to pay for a game , just £3.99 or so. She does not have a debit card so I registered mine.
However I started to get lots of payments taken, at one time, over £80 in a week. So I canceled the payment authority. Now she is complaining that she can not update any games or get new ones.Is there any way of paying itunes apart from a continuous payment authority? I would be happy to do one off payments for amounts I knew about but not just letting them have full access to my bank account.
EDDIE what were you charged for? every itunes account is associated with am email address and you get emails telling you what has been spent and what it was spent on. If you are saying that your wife has spent the money then the solution is easy. She buys an itunes gift card and puts that on her itune account.
PS it seems to me that its not “them" who has full access to your bank account but your missus...as chrissa says, every time you buy something, you have to put your password in :(
Not that I know much about Net paid games but is your wife buying virtual things (or game benefits/extensions) in the game unaware that they cost money in the real world ?
As has been suggested iTunes gift card is one way to pay. You can buy one using your itunes account and she gets a code for her account. This is the best way as you can get from£10 this way - don't thing you can get £10 ones in the shops.
