If the British government is as bad as the Labourites would have us believe I wonder why these people, who have all reached save haven, are so desperate to come here. This situation must be dreadful for the people of Calais. Very frightening.

No one seems to get decent authorities who opt to do the right thing, unless pushed.
The reports of French authorities apparently suggesting that Britain should take the migrants suggests that they have to endure a particularly incompetent, want to do nothing but push issues away, lot. It's their violent migrants whom they've welcomed into their country, they must deal with them as it's their responsibility. Got nothing to do with Britain.
