Maybe a referendum should be held
I was very surprised with the answer, as were all the members of the jury. Not sure where they got their info from.
Did you happen to see yesterday's episode as I missed it and wondered if the money was won by Rob?

Brilliant answer, Baldric!!

Glad you like it ummmm.
Tikka Massalla is more popular with British people it is not really a 'proper curry' it was designed for British palettes ,Indians and Pakistanis will not eat it as they say it is too bland. I suspect more curry gets eaten in the UK by people from India and Pakistan than gets eaten by 'white British'.
I thought it was tikka masala, I'm glad Pete didn't win any money today

losgigs, Rob lost yesterday
Popularity can change over the years.

Anyway I thought all the dishes at the restaurants here were modified or created for the British market anyway. Didn't seem to be anything like the dishes served at the Indian wedding I went to, many years ago.
Where is CJ ? I haven't seen him for a while or have I just missed him?
yeah I noticed that
and I thought it was Chicken Tikka....

but they have to have a source and the decision is final

I didnt like - which regional accent is the most attractive ?
well it is gonna be one of the musical accents ( NOT Brum Scouse or Chav)

and it came out as Oirish....
but gollob you will identify this is a socio-linguisitic question. and is context sensitive

Bank mgr you certainly DONT want him to say - Moi mudder, she has dis piggy bank you can put monny into .....

and a doctor - you want HIM to have a BBC accent ....
aaaah ... why did the brilliant answer get zapped ?

more humourless modz ?
PP - I was being sarcastic. It wasn't a brilliant answer. It just said 'zzzzzzzzzz'
Jalfrezi is often said to be the favourite curry in the UK.
tikka masalas are way back in eighth place (as of 2011) - here's the list

Probably true Eddie, but I would have thought they would make their own at home, rather than a take-away.
Oh I don't know. Not always. I sometimes go out for an English, and look for the blandest thing on the menu; washed down with a real ale.

o dear we all have our off days - I thought it might be a rare one liner from B.

Today ( or a few days ago ) they had two lawyers - and not surprisingly they were at each others throats within a few minutes. - and a phenominal example of a false-memory being constructed before our very eyes

(lotto started within a few months of a leetel bebby's birth - ergo 1992.
oops no, 1994 when the baby was 2 - look of frank horror on proud mumz face)

trt The question is what is the UK favorite curry? It did not specify take away curry or home made curry or restaurant curry just 'curry'. So out of all that chicken jalfrzi is the most popular. Tikka Massalla is not really a curry at all,
as I said, it is a recipe that was specifically created to suit British people who do not like curry.
