Does anyone know of a way to eradicate the odour?

For removing those sort of odours I'd normally recommend the excellent 'Simple Solution' range of products sold by Pets at Home. However all of those I've just looked at say 'not suitable for leather'.

Have you tried leaving bicarb on the area over night to absorb the smell?? i use neat zoflora to get rid of smells but test it on a hidden area first to make sure it does not cause damage
