There was a post just now by a newbie called Stann , he lasted just 6 minutes before being banned, Is this a record?

No- if it was the one who has been banned about 6 times today under different names some of his were removed within seconds- including one very long post about some prank his workmates played on a female.

I know you haven't asked 'why' , but it may be worth bearing in mind...

Also any publicity he gets only makes him more determined.

I've sometimes seen an obvious spammer's post appear at the top of 'Latest Posts', and immediately gone to their profile in order to ban them, only to find that (within the few seconds which have elapsed since the spam appeared) a fellow moderator has already beaten me to it!

Actually Talbot, I have only been on for about half the day and I think I saw maybe more than six. But I guess this poster got up expecting to have fun and be banned regularly.

I had no intention of asking why he was banned , it was pretty obvious, just curious as to what the shortest time was from 'newbie' to banned, 6 minutes is pretty fast!
