shellexp trojan

can anybody give me some advice on getting rid of this trojan?i have run spybot,windows defender and ewido but when i reboot its still there.please help.

You could always try the system restore option in your control panel (if running windows xp). You can choose to go back to a date when your computer was working okay and you won't lose any files. Read it for more info though.

it won't let me do a system restore.do i need to turn off system restore in order to do that?
