The case being investigated is one of multiple incidents of child abuse.
I am about a third of the way through it and finding it quite disturbing and distressing and yet I can't leave it unread. I need to know how it develops and comes to fruition.
Has anyone else read it? What was your reaction?

I tend to avoid television programmes and books on subjects that upset me - domestic violence is another. Strange, isn't it?
