Lots, especially poems (I've just recited 'the Night Mail' to check I still know it), but the one that leaps out is on the 'I before e' rule and goes 'If the sound you are seeking rhymes with bee - then it's i before e except after c'. It works apart from the 5 exceptions, one of which is 'weird', so it's very handy to know.
