Why do people only listen to the titles of songs and make assumptions about the contents of the lyrics? EG � Wish I was a Punkrocker �hate the song, but it's about missing two very different eras due to age, not literally about wishing she was a punk with flowers in her hair. Then there's 'More Than Words'. It's not a lovey dovey song � it's a guy insisting that his girl should have sex with him if she loves him. 'The Drugs don't Work' � not exactly an anti-drugs song, it's about someone doing drugs that don't do the job. And as for 'You're Gorgeous' �

It's actually about the loss of Richard Ashcrofts father.

There she goes by the La's is a personal favorite of mine actually about taking Heroin, makes sense if you read the lyrics.

Summer of 69 is another one, as is house of fun by Madness.

I thought 'The Drugs Don't Work' was about the death of his mother? About her fight with cancer and the chemo etc not making her better?
