Just seen a money off voucher for Lidls in The Daily Mail said it was valid in all UK stores except Northern Ireland.

Yes it is but they aren't extending the offer to NI.
it is (the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) so that's why they have to specify "except".
Is the DM a major seller in NI?
It would be the same as saying "valid in all UK stores except the Isle of Wight".

there's a separate Irish Daily Mail, isn't there? Do you get that or the British one? They probably have different promotions in different editions.
jno both are available, the magazines tend to be slightly different though.

It used to annoy me greatly that offers were available everywhere else apart from NI.

Some insurance companies do not operate in the UK and some sellers on ebay and amazon will not ship to NI!
