There's a 60's Motwon song called Stoned Love by The Supremes- do you mean that? Or am I totally ruddy wrong as per usual?

There was an original and I think it was by Sonny Burgess. They were talking about it on Radio 2 the other day.

I love the revamp though - great track!

There was a 70's Motown group called The Stylistics, (the original ones!) who recorded a song with this title. Trouble is, being ancient, I don't know the lyrics of the song you're talking about so don't know if it's the same.
