As a citizen of the UK, do they speak for you?

//On Monday 21 March, for the first time, unaccompanied minors who had previously been stuck in the Calais jungle, will travel safely and legally to the UK to be with their families through the Dublin III Treaty’s provisions. The three children, who until now had been forced to choose between stowing away in lorries or putting their fates in the hands of people smugglers to reach their families, will arrive at St Pancras by Eurostar having been supported by Citizens UK’s Safe Passage legal programme. They will be greeted by actors Juliet Stevenson and Toby Jones who have backed their efforts to be reunited with their loved ones in the UK.//
Wondered if that referenced the mention of March.
I'm sure they are contactable if you wish them to verify their claims.

If they are successful in gaining asylum, will that make them French citizens?
If so, then hurry up Mrs May, get us out of the EU fast, we don't want them all swarming into the UK legally.

The whole concept of wasting millions on "refugees" and their hordes of "children" is a betrayal of all the children of our own country who are in need of care and housing, let alone the homeless UK citizens who have to sleep on the streets in freezing conditions because of lack of funds to assist them.
A cliche I know but charity begins at home.

If anybody is interested I did contact Citizens UK regarding their work with the refugee's. In their reply there was no actual answer just the link to their website, it was after reading their website that prompted me to get further information. This suggests to me they don't actually do anything apart from lobbying the Government and then take the credit for people arriving in this country. So my answer is still the same, they don't speak for me.
Maybe taking a few 'children' now is our part of the deal for the closure of the jungle. If the closure works it will help the residents of Calais, may discourage many from trying to reach the channel and reduce the number sneaking across in lorries. France allowed the mess to start but it's in all or interests for the closure to go smoothly.
i'm not sure anyone thinks that none of them have smart phones, TTG. They are not claiming to be without any material possessions- they are seeking to escape misery and want to come to UK. I do not see any reason why the BBC would want to hide the fact. They are bound to be pretty fit young men- survival of the fittest and all that after travelling thousands of miles and sleeping rough for months. And I'm pretty sure the Dublin III Treaty’s provisions don't disallow applications from people with smart phones. The sooner they sort out the genuine unaccompanied young children under 15 and close the jungle the better
