Missed this thread. But will reiterate what I said on t'other. My darling sister and my mum loved this guy. Unbelievable but true. He filled in for Buddy Holly and Big Bopper after the were killed in the plane crash and gave Dylan one of his first gigs.

ummmm, the charts around 1960 were full of Bobbys. Bobby Vee, Bobby Vinton, Bobby Rydell, Bobby Darrin. A few Tommys around as well. I never quite managed to tell them apart.

I didn't realise this one had Bobby Dylan in his band, though.
