Considering that heat is supposed to rise,why is the upstairs in my house so much cooler than downstairs?You can feel the difference as you walk up the stairs.The loft floor is boarded over but not insulated Thanks.

We had our loft insulated, and cavity wall insulation, done for free a couple of years ago. It's made a HUGE difference to the heat in the house. Might be worth looking into any schemes available in your area.
