Maybe he should be forced to give more to Hati.

Oh come on everyone. Surely you should know by now that the rich and especially the super rich know all the little wheezes and tricks to get and retain their money.
How do you think Trump has managed to pay no tax for ten years? The money they pay their accountants are but a drop in the ocean of how much they save and get to keep.

I'd imagine the emir of Dubai probably has a say in where the taxes go anyway as he isn't Joe Bloggs of the emirates.
Without knowing the ins and outs of it, while £300,000 may not be much to him it will presumably make a difference to Haiti. And isn't that the point?
When I've contributed as much as a penny to the cause then I'll feel qualified to complain. But I suspect I won't .
