It's beautifully written and charts a girl's relationship with her boyfriend/lover over several years; how she sets out to win him, gets him, loses him and gets him again.
It's quite a lengthy read, but well worth it.

Hi two books I could not put down
1 Angelas ashes by Frank McCourt
2 Addict by stephen smith
both true stories the first about growing up in Ireland,a great read, the second a frightening insight into drug addiction, you might think no thanks, but if you pick this book you will never touch drugs,it is so well written, funny, sad and addictive reading.
