Frustration!

We have a problem with recording to programmes with the humax box. When we replay a recording the end is cut off. I'm not sure how much we lose but it does seem to be doing it at a crucial part of a storyline. Driving me mad.
Anyone got any ideas please.

To enable padding to all of your recordings
1. Press the MENU button
2. Select Settings
3. Select Preferences
4. Select Recording
5. Click On End Padding Time
6. Enter length of time to record after program ends
This may cause problems if two programs are set to record on the same channel following each other
I would first try a reset of the box back to factory settings and re setup

i had this but it cured itself maybe it is one prog set to record exactly as one is finished recording, i fiddled with padding time and it all went to cock
