Bramble Cocktail
7 Answers
We had a couple of these in the Twisted Lemon in Brighton a couple of weeks ago and have found a recipe for them which have replicated those we had perfectly.
So tonight we've had a couple of Brambles followed by the world famous ragu with the lovely square spaghetti from the co op, with a bit of freshly baked baguette.
Yum.
I've also bought a couple of slow cooker books from 'The Works' and am feeling more confident about the ruddy slow cooker for next weeks offerings.

The bramble recipe we use is
60 ml gin
30 ml lemon juice
15 ml sugar syrup
15 ml creme de mure (blackberry liqueur)
But we ramp it up to make a jug full and add prosecco...
Using a 60 ml (the smallest cup measure)
4 measures gin
2 of lemon juice
1 of sugar syrup
1 of creme de mure
We're having friends round on Saturday so will make a bucketful :)
There's someone on AB who rates a Bramble as their favourite cocktail, not sure who it is,

Had to look up what stifado is Fluffy, sounds tasty. I've got a vat of chilli bubbling away for tomorrow. Trouble is, I bought two tins of kidney beans and it turns out I bought the ones in chilli sauce by mistake and am undecided whether to use them or nip to the shops for the plain ones...decisions, decisions
