... another weekend nearly with us, they don't half come 'round quick nowadays.
It's been raining since lunchtime here so nowt done outside today, needs a bit of a tidy up atm.
Mrs B just 'phoned to say she's arrived in Norwich safe and sound.
Going into Whitstable for some Pubgrub and a couple of beers tonight, should be fun.

Does anyone have anything exciting planned other than fireworks?

Chris, Neptune was first port of call, atmosphere was a bit fragrant so we moved swiftly on. Ended up in an Indian Restaurant down near the Harbour, my companion spoke the language so the food was excellant as was the service, then we've called it a day as the weather was still not good, so home to the G and T.

Nothing too exiting planned as I have chores tomorrow and work on Sunday, in Norwich!

Maydup, give Mrs B a wave.
Ah yes that's it! Good memories.

Not been in there yet, but, it gets good write ups.

Second large G and T on way down, nowt on the box, think it's bed time,
G'nnight all.
Here's the link to The Quayside:
https://brakspear.co.uk/pub-finder/quayside/

I find it interesting that it calls itself a freehouse but it's listed on the Brakspear website! Anyway, with all those lovely Shepherd Neame houses around there, surely you could have found a better pint? (Shepherd Neame is my favourite large brewer).

Have you tried the Star of Bengal indian restaurant? I had a really good meal in there.
Question Author

Have used it for takeaways, very good ones, but not for a while.
My youngest Grandson (aged 5) is bringing me a Happy Meal and then we'll have fun for a few hours tomorrow afternoon.

Nice to have one to one sometimes rather than all together.

That's all folks, G'night.
