Furby Gets Rid Of A Persistent Cold Caller!

We're sick of cold callers ringing us up. We registered with TPS but it has made no difference.

Today, two more cold calls from the same source. Luckily our granddaughter was here with her Furby when the second one came through. I activated Furby and placed him by the telephone receiver. The cold caller soon hung up!

That's good. My dad is plagued by cold callers and tells them lies to wind them up.
I don't know why some people get loads of those calls and others don't.

BT8500 phone - they still call but the phone doesn't let them through! You know its "one of those calls" when the phone gives 1 ring. If its a genuine caller not on the stored number list, they have to say who they are, then you get the option to speak to them or block them.

Whilst it maybe fun it's an unnecessary waste of your time unless you record the results and upload to youtube or other sites for comedy value.

To be honest, we don't want to go to the expense of buying a new phone system. They certainly don't take "No, not interested" for an answer. We have requested time and again to be deleted from their database but to no avail.

After listening to Furby, they must think that they were talking to a raving idiot. Perhaps now, we will be spared further bothersome calls.
