lately. It is going slow and not responding, most of the time. What is going on ?

I am also , it has took me ages just trying to read some posts, I frequently get , this site is not responding , yet everything else I look at , it is fine.
I ALWAYS have problems with it, but I am so used to it now, I just get on with it ! Thought it was my computer at first, but know it's not now.

I frequently have trouble with AB (but no other forums that I use). I’ve tried three different browsers. Cleared all the caches and all that nonsense. Terrible delays. “Not responding”. Locking up. Browser won’t close (“Task Manager” needed and sometimes even that doesn’t work, meaning a complete re-boot). Most recently been having trouble on and off for about five days. Took four goes to open this question and post an answer. It seems to be something to do with adverts. But whatever it is it is an utter shambles!


If you use it, get rid of IE, use Chrome or Firefox.
I have to us the Microsoft offering for Answerbank as it freezes on Firefox. Even then some weird stuff goes on with unresponsive letters when typing, almost like its buffering but failing to resume.

I've been assuming a duff Firefox upgrade.
